JKS Finland karate club

JKS Finland is a non-profit organisation and a karate club that teaches traditional Shotokan karate style as developed by Tetsuhiko Asai Shuseki Shihan. Our dojo is located in Helsinki.

Weekly schedule

We train in Eastern Helsinki

Our dojo is located at Mekaanikonkatu 17, 00880 Helsinki. The dojo is on the 2nd floor of the "Saka-building". Come in to the building using the door on the right side of the car dealership (Saka) and take the stairs on your left to second floor. Enter to the lobby. Our karate dojo is on your left side. Leave your shoes in the lobby.

How to find us

Try karate!

Would you like to try karate? We have special beginners classes for adults and beginner children are training with the children's classes. You can join all year round. Just contact us, and we give you more information. Karate is suitable for everyone. To get started you only need spots clothing (jogging pants and a t-shirt) and a water bottle.
